Hello! I'm Amanda!Do What You Love
Since a young age, one of my favorite past times was graphic and web design. It’s something I started doing when I was about twelve years old. It was just a hobby. Something I did for fun. I would enjoy sitting at the computer for days at a time figuring out how to code a layout and create graphics to accompany the codes. I loved creating beautiful pages, even if they were mainly for my enjoyment. Towards the end of high school, at a career fair, I discovered that it was a possible career path. From that point on, I decided I wanted to continue my schooling in that field. That’s what led me to California State University – Fullerton to pursue and obtain my Bachelors of Fine Art in Graphic Design.

From there on, I’ve always followed the sentiment, “Do what you love.” It’s the motto that has stuck with me. Everything I’ve done in my life has always followed this sentiment. That is why visual design has always played a prominent role in each position I’ve been in no matter the job description. You could say that others have also noticed my forte and talent as well.

When Life Gives You Lemons
As a graphic design and marketing expert, my specialties have allowed me to dabble into fine art, photography, web coding, public relations, copy writing, e-commerce, and more. I love expanding my knowledge base and finding new inspirations to incorporate into my work. I believe there is beauty in all things. Everything can inspire you to create something beautiful. But it’s only when you stop to smell the roses that you can create something extraordinary.

It’s been a great journey so far and it’s still going! Since getting my education at Cal State Fullerton, I’ve expanded my skills from web to print to digital to marketing/PR and more. Working for individual clients to small businesses to corporations as a consultant and in-house designer. A few clients and businesses I have worked with include Pitzer College, HartmanBaldwin Design/Build, Gym Class Heroes, and Diamond Wipes International. More About Me
What is my favorite part about designing? Finding new and different creative ways to present a message. You’re creatively adding aesthetic elements to make a message function on a whole new level of effectiveness.

When not designing, I enjoy traveling, cooking, music, art museums, nature, hiking, and binging on some quality entertainment. Really, I’m just a big kid at heart. I have a fascination with everything.
