What is beauty? That is the question this piece asks. It questions our definition and standards of beauty in today’s society. This piece uses body parts from famous celebrities juxtaposed onto the famous Mona Lisa by Leonardo DaVinci. Although we all agree that the painting of this woman is beautiful, if she were living in today’s world, even the beautiful Mona Lisa would have to change her appearance to be deemed “beautiful.”
